Personality: Being raised as the middle child had a lot of effect on Amda. She's diplomatic, peace seeking, and doesn't particularly care for confrontation. She'd rather refer a problem to someone in charge and let them deal with it than start any fights on her own. She's patient and hard-working, and prefers to figure something out than asking for help when it comes to tasks. She's warm and kind to friends, and strictly polite to strangers. She's not overly fond of bugs.

Brief Bio: Amda's family is one of the main carpenters for the island of Skyloft, and has been for generations. They take woodworking very seriously. She has a younger sister who is too young for the academy, and an older brother who works the mines in Chronos Desert. Her parents were loving and supportive growing up, but expected absolute seriousness when it came to work.

Amda showed enough of an aptitude with her loftwing that her parents suggested she should try for her knighthood. Not one to shy away from hard work, Amda enrolled at seventeen and has been at the academy for a year. She tries hard, but isn't that successful so far.

She recently had to take a leave from her studies to help her father, who broke his leg during a project. Her brother came back to assume her responsibilities, and she's finally able to return to the academy.
